There was no discussion on invoking AC21 where the salary is lower than specified in LC. For example wages for LC filed in bay area will be higher than other places and if one wishes to move to work location where prevaling wages are lower compare with original LC location. What would USCIS position on this since AC21 does not talk about work location.

If Reps win CIR might not pass at all. Since border Fence bill is passed now it shows Reps want a border security only bill. Remember Senate was opposing to a border security bill First? What happened now. America raised voice about it. And congress reacted by passing it.
If Dems win we stand a chance that CIR would be debated. Few legals provisions would squeezed into this CIR bill(which is maily for undocumented and ag worker). However its important that Dems take control of both senate and house.
Ont he flip side if Reps will, atleast there is a possiblity that SKIL bill might pass. that would help us.

I applied on July2,got the receipt on Aug 22 nd.Got EAD,AP.
One strange thing is my case is NSC to CSC but still in CSC only .I think except my case,all others cases transfred back to NSC.I do not know the reason.
Any comments please....

I just called national customer service center for my 485 receipts and the lady told that nebraska filers should still wait for 30 more days before they call for receipt updates...she said she was answering the same question since this morning and mentioned that it could still take atleast 30 days for nebraska center to register the applications...
when I asked her if she knew whether my case has been transferred to TSC already (since my 140 got approved from TSC), she said she wouldn't know that answer...her bottom line was to wait...
what a mess!!!!!

Did you send out the latest letters...I am getting a positive feed back ..that approximately at least 500 letters have gone out..we started to make noise.. and we will see the results eventually...More action items will follow in comming weeks..Dont forget the high five though campaign though ;)

my 485 app was delivered to NSC on 2nd @ 8.26am..
my 140 was approved from TSC.... and no reciept or encashed checks yet!
But are we sure, all our applications will be transferred to TSC? I've heard that the new rule that the apps should be sent to TSC or NSC based on state u live in is gonna take effect only from this week....

Before SKIL bill there were Talent Bill and PACE act which were pending for a long time. the senate has not taken up the immigration reform debate yet. and it can be postponed forever. So how much hope is there for SKIL bill ?
Also after senate, there is a bigger hurdle, the house of representatives. Remember the Budget Reconciliation Bill was passed in Senate with the Immigration related Clauses. But was stripped off in the House. So is there any hope ?
Sorry I am being Skeptical. But apart from some media publicity, IV does'nt have brought up anything good to the Legal Immigrants community.
Have IV recieved any Positive Responses for the faxes being sent. Will the Backlog elimination Centers Improve their processing speed, and transparency of cases?
I am on H4 visa, So I am dumped. and Here is my friend who had to resign her job because her 6 yrs limit on H visa. and We are feeling depressed day by day in this UNFAIR IMMIGRATION SYSTEM. Aren't H4 spouses considered as Immigrants ?

Try to call them or you may write a letter to them. I really hope and pray you get your EAD card soon. I also had applied in June and received few days ago. Good Luck.
