Anybody who filed after 06/04/2007, got receipt#
I am just trying to see if NSC could go past the I-485 received on 06/01/2007. Many folks whose application was received the first day got receipt and receipt#. Is there anyone who applied later and got the receipt or receipt#.
we ( 5+6 dependents) applied on 5/31. Reached NSC on 6/1 but not yet received our notices.Hoping we will get them this week.

lawsuite and all will never get us to a point where we want. nobody can force
the state department or the USCIS to forcefully accept 700K applications, and then for next 20 years the dates will be struck. specially for people who have been waiting since 2000,2001 and 2002 cannnot be clubed together with people who came in 2006 or 2007, that is going to be fairly injustice and they know that.
I think it will be better to focus our energy on legislative changes or else nothing will get done, no body can push 700K applications down to the throats of USCIS when that have already exausted the quota.
better focus on contacting senators or house members to get some legislative relief.

you got to make your decision dude, however, in my case, i would opt for W2. 1099 is a temporary thing... thats my opinion... you did not ask me specifically to share this, but hey, this is a public forum... :-)

I am not planning to open a company for this. If possible, I would rather work as an independent contractor on 1099. Now, after reading the last few posts, it looks like there are three things I need to worry about in case of a RFE -

We finally got the CPO email for my wife and I today morning.
Had done all the follow-up like SRs, Infopass, Congressman inquiry. Not sure what worked.
After 10 years, we are finally greened. I sincerely hope for everyone who is current to be greened in time.

Thanks.. All of our checks were sent by lawyer and they were not telling me any thing. When I asked them repeatedly, they just said checks have not been cashed and our dear USCIS refused to give any update, as it has not been 90 days. I am still waiting for FP notice or receipt for my I485/I131 and receipt for I485/I131/I765 of my wife.

Can we setup a separate payment account for those willing to contribute to this campaign? It becomes difficult to coordinate if every individual goes on to mail the flowers. Instead we should all contribute to the "send a flower" campaign and then the person in charge of the account should send those flowers (with the note) on a pre-selected date.
It makes things easier for people and they may be more willing to participate!
The other thing is to raise awareness about this campaign! Mail your friends...

All checks cashed June 8th. It was sent to Nebrasks. I hardy just could read the SRC letters in back of my check. Online image in not good. I guess it has gone to Texas sercice center.

Why are you tying N400 eligibility with this ? regardles of the interpretation any gc have to show ( 5years presence, atleast 6+ months a year, 30 months etc) to become eligible to become USC ? You could be referring to a special and/or complex case of lot or large reentry permit ?
Expect for some rare special cases of long reentry permits, This interpretation I am suggesting will neither enhance their condition or make it worse for any derivative already-in or newly-entering FB2A.
I read some were 88k visas are available for FB2A. I think they are safe.
Look at the EB3 mess. Is it in any way fair for EB-primary to wait that long ?

Are you willing to assume the burden that comes with classification in the FB category - separation of family while waiting for PD to be current? This is my first post here. Even though I've been a member for sometime, I wasn't even aware of these forums. When the July VB fiasco happened, I stumbled upon these forums and I was glued throughout the entire saga. U know what, IV was the only one who gave me any kind of HOPE. I am so thankful for what the IV core has done for us.
Its a shame that we all sit quietly and let someone else pay for our problems. After all, most of us have decent paying jobs here. So I too will pledge $ 100 and I am also going to contribute twds IV's cause.........
I hope more ppl will come forward and do the same.
Yes you are correct. We all have decent paying jobs and $100 is nothing compared to $64000. I hope more folks like you join this humble cause. Can the spread sheet be updated and posted again so that we can track it.

I am in the same situation in that I too have not received my FP notice as yet. Filed July 23rd at TSC. The application was transferred to CSC and then back to TSC. I opened a SR on October 5th and still have not received a FP notice. When I called to follow up, I've was told that the TSC is significantly delayed because of the volume of applications they received and to wait 90 days!
For those of you who have used infopass, was it helpful in getting your FP scheduled?
Also, can the person who wrote to the obudsman post the e-mail address and format of what he/she wrote? This would make it easier for those of us who would also like to send an e-mail.

We have been waiting for more than 100 days. We applied exactly 120 days before our current EAD was going to expire. When I called USCIS (after 90 days) , Customer Service told that that don�t have our finger prints in file. I never got any notice and my lawyer said they don�t need finger prints for paper filed application and they should use I485 finger prints. So I took the infopass appointment. IO was nice and he was willing to listen. He said the same thing (missing finger prints). I showed him the fingerprint receipts from last year and also showed the USCIS memo talking about interim EAD. He said no to interim EAD. But called Texas Service Center right then. Person on the other end offered to call back in 5 minutes and he did. IO came back and told us that there was some thing wrong at their end and they will port my finger print information from 485 to EAD application. But he said it would take 10 � 15 business days more. Our current EAD were expiring soon and I called congresswoman�s office next day. Got the approval email yesterday evening. Don�t know what worked. But what a huge relief.
