I am also in the same situation. My GC has been approved on August 5th 2008 and my wife's case is still pending, with no LUD. Did anyone else receive any approval.

I think I misread the OP about moving from the flash IDE to flex builder although I strongly prefer both FD and FDT to flex builder..

Flex has some strong points, but ultimately there isn't much you can't accomplish with Flex that you couldn't have done with Flash + Flash Develop, or FDT, or something like that. You have a valid H1 with the new employer (client), so there should be nothing wrong working with the client.
Have you or your client signed a contract with the parent company? If you have not signed a contract, there is nothing to worry. I would assume your client may have signed a contract with your parent company(old employer). If that's the case the issue is between you current employer (client) and you parent company (old employer).
You may also want to check with your attorney.

I sent in form G-325 for both me and my wife along with my I-485 instead of the G-325A as required on I-485 instructions by oversight. What do you guys recommend I do? Should I send in a new application or just send in the G-325A form with a letter stating the issue? Please help.
When did you file? How long has it been?
if you just recently filed, I would recommend that you wait for the Receipt notice of the 485 (at this stage they have not worked on your case yet) and then send the letter along with the correct form.
Atleast that way they can track it and put it where it is supposed to go. Right now, if you send it where are they going to find your form in 700K+ applications comming n and and you not even being in the system.
Consult with your attorney thugh.

Where is the best place to learn Peoplesoft ? What is future scope of Peoplesoft ? Also where is a good place to learn SAP or Oracle Financials ?
Do local Univ or Community colleges - Computer Science or MIS departments offter these classes ? Does one need to learn C to learn these applications ?

I filed I-140 (EB-2) right away. Now, my RIR was approved. I plan to file another I-140 based on RIR (EB-3). Can I carry over the priority date of October 2004 to EB-2? What should I do to carry over the October 2004 priority date?
A-74: The immigration regulation provides that when an alien has multiple "approved" I-140 petitions with different classifications, the alien can use the earliest priority date. This carry-over of the priority date is available regardless of difference in the occupational classifications, preference categories or employers. Unlike common misunderstanding, one cannot seek amendment of the approved I-140 petition to change the priority of a given petition. In your case, once your EB-2 I-140 petition is approved and the visa cut-off date for EB-2 for your country moves to October 2004, even if your EB-2 priority date is November 2005, you can file I-485/I-765/I-131. I did not want to start a new thread for this. But I had earlier last month contacted many senators with the official I-485 pending inventory as proof and asking them whether it was humane, ethical and moral to ask someone wait more than 15 years for a green card! And what they are doing to remedy the situation.
This is the reply I received today from Sen. Frank Lautenberg. May be this is very standard format, I am not sure but it does mention specific bill and recapture provision.

I was on L1 got h1b and started working for h1b employer in Oct 2007. meanwhile my wife and kid traveled to India and in Chennai consulate got 221g for latest salary slips in April 2008. in 2 weeks they got h4 stamped. after one year I traveled to India in July 2009 and got h1b stamped.

I have been a silent observer of the posts here in the IV.
I like the posts in general, the ideas in particular.
I am also a member of immigrationportal forums and have
seen a lot of interest in members there towards separating
the legal provisions in the senate's CIR S 2611 bill into a new bill/law,
and see if it can be passed quickly, as the law makers,
do not seem to have any problem with changes for legal immigrants
in it.
- Is this possible ?
- Can IV help at this critical times ?
- What would it take to get the House pick the legal immigrant
items in CIR S 2611 and pass it first ?

I heard from some other people if they are in vsg their GCs are not getting approved as it is not @ our fault why we need to bear this...I am coming to conclusion that vsg case is affecting employees...any solution u are trying....

I have approved EB3 LC and approved I 140 with PD JAN 2002. My wife has approved EB2 LC (Perm) and Approved I 140 with PD JAN 2006
As we represent one family can't my wife use my PD and apply I 485 under EB2.
for example If husband is born in a retrogressed country and wife in a non retrogressed country in that case, husband gets a free ride !
Why not in this case ? Just curious !
If your wife is from nonretrogress country which allow her to submit I485 it will be better for you to go with her case (don't have to worry about PD) since it will be current for EB2.
Once she get her greencard approved you will automatically get yours as well.
but as always this is just my opinion everything has still need to be consult with your lawyer.

There is no serious effort by the republicans. They are fractured, divided, into groups. They have no motivation to get this comprehensive bill passed. I have been observing the tactics and attitudes of these republican senators and democratic senators. I am more shocked by the game of one-upmanship on the part of Frist, Kyl, Cornyn, Craig. I don't see rhyme or reason in their sppeches. The bill has no life for the next 3 weeks.

This dramatic break-through opens a door to the possibility of passing the Senate version of Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill, S. 2454, as amended before this week is over and before the Congress goes into the recess next two weeks.
The development is accompanied by three other developments:
President released statement supporting the bi-partisan agreement;
Senate rejected the Democrat's motion to cloture for the Specter amendments to S.2454;
Senate also relected the Republican Kyl' motion for his amendments.
Now we see the light at the end of the tunnel!!

One possible issue with this assessment is that CIS Ombudsman released the report on June 11th and ISCIS published 'THE JULY 2007 BULLETIN' on June 12th. That may mean someone in USCIS decided ultra fast as to make all the dates current or they (USCIS top brass) knew about this report draft.
I don't know if this report really caused USCIS to come out with that bulletin. there is something else under the hood which caused this reaction....http://immigrationvoice.org/forum/images/smilies/mad.gif

Is not it strange that IRS processed the tax refund before completing the ITIN processing? They could not confirm the current status of my wife's ITIN processing, as they could not pull out any details about the W-7 based on the information provided by me. They only guessed that it might be still undergoing processing. I wonder if they misplaced the W-7 form or something like that :-(.

I think vldrao is from numbers usa. That's my theory. he was just hangin out here as a mole to get information from IVers. At the same time he was giving out some information to hide his identity and gain our trust. :)
